Abstract: Friend-Health Status is a 6-item set about the Fast Track respondent’s health conditions, chronic conditions, pain and conditions impeding normal work as reported by a nominated friend. No scales were constructed for the Health Status measure. There are no unusual values for this measure. The user is warned that there are respondents with values 999 (“Refused to Answer”) for question Q390 (“How many times has your peer either been pregnant or gotten someone else pregnant?”). No recodes have been made for any of the questions. The user is encouraged to test for association between sample type and discrete variables belonging to this measure.
