Post-Intervention Ratings of Change – Grade 4+
Abstract: The Post-Intervention Ratings of Child and Parent Change (Grade 4+) is a 25-item instrument that measures parent's perceptions of change of their own behavior and of their child's behavior. In the first 9 items, the parent is asked to rate the degree of behavior change of the target child, using a -3 to +3 scale (much worse, somewhat worse, a little worse, no change, a little improved, somewhat improved, much improved). In the following 16 items, the parent is asked to rate the change of his/her own behavior towards the target child, using the same -3 to +3 scale. Scaling was derived from the Technical Report generated on Grade 4 data. Each scale score was calculated by taking an average of the items comprising the scale if 50% or more of the item responses were available.
