Parental Monitoring of Technology – Self-Report about Own Parenting Behavior
Abstract: Parental Monitoring of Technology for Offspring (TCH) is a thirteen-item measure that captures the extent to which parents monitor their children’s technology use, how they enforce those rules, and the frequencies with which they talk to their children about technology usage. The three mean scores are constructed from the items: a total score and 2 sub-scales capturing technology monitoring and discourse with their child about technology.
